Goat yoga is a new activity being used by the Johnson County 4-H Goat Club to raise money to build a new goat grooming area at the fairgrounds.
Monday March 19, 2018, yoga instructor Ashly (cq) Burmeister of Peaceful Heart Yoga in Franklin and a few 4-Her gathered at Scott Hall to try out the new concept. Two baby goats roamed as Burmeister led a yoga class. The idea is to get the energy and curiosity of the goat to provide therapy to yoga participants.
