Word War II Navy veteran Lee Brickey turned 100 years old on Nov. 4. Brickey joined the Navy in his late 20s, and was one of the first people to use radar for military services. He was briefly assigned to the USS Indianapolis, before it was infamously torpedoed and sunk in the Pacific. Scott Roberson / Daily Journal
