Lee Brickey, a U.S. Navy veteran who served in World War II, turned 100 years old on Nov. 4. Brickey joined the Navy in his late 20s, and was trained as one of the first people to ever use radar. He was briefly assigned to the USS Indianapolis, before it was infamously torpedoed and sunk in the Pacific. Scott Roberson / Daily Journal
