Pictured is the space between Joe Merlo's house and his neighbor's house in the Lexington Greene addition to the Hickory Stick subdivision in Greenwood, Ind. Merlo's lot line was drawn incorrectly when the subdivision was zoned. When the house next door to Merlo's house was built the back of the new house blocked his view of the golf course and country to the east of his house. Mike Wolanin / The Daily Journal
