Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) members Amy Cook, left, and Kim Houston, right, talk while handing out blue child abuse awareness ribbons at the Pinwheels for Prevention event at the Johnson County branch of the Indiana Department of Child Services in Franklin, Ind. The Pinwheels for Prevention event was designed to raise public awareness for child abuse and the services available to prevent such acts from happening. Attendees planted a garden of pinwheels outside the Department of Child Services building. Johnson County had 3,272 reports about suspected child abuse in 2013 of which 212 were substantiated.
