Nurses Cathy Williams, left, and Tammy Cecil, right, wait for, fourth generation family doctor and internal medicine specialist, Dr. William Province M.D., signs some last minute paperwork at his family's medical practice located on Main Street in downtown Franklin, Ind. Dr. Province took over his family's medical practice in 1981. The Province medical practice is the oldest practice in the state of Indiana. It was started by his great grandfather Dr. William Province in 1867 and for the last 146 a Province has operated the practice. In March of this year Dr. Province will retire and close his practice.
