Joe Whetstine looks at potted flowers on Monday, July 3, 2017 outside the Trafalgar branch of the Johnson County Public Library. By using Enchroma glasses Whetstine, who is colorblind, was able to see colors for the first time by filtering out sharp wavelengths of light, enhancing specific colors. The glasses are available to check out, providing a new opportunity for the colorblind that they've never had before. Scott Roberson / Daily Journal
