Jon Templeman performs a balancing exercise in his basement in his home in Edinburgh, Ind., Friday, April 17, 2015. Templeman, a Marine Corps veteran, had surgery in March to remove a tumor from his right ear. The surgery left him deaf in his right ear and without the ability to balance. Templeman describes the feeling of not being able balance as being drunk without the side effects of consuming alcohol.
