A storage area where supplies and finished items are stores be a group of volunteers who make quilts at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. The group meets every Tuesday and some Wednesdays to sew, knit, crochet and quilt gifts to offer comfort, support, and friendship to patients. Their recipients include veterans, cancer patients, newborns, new moms all year long, as well as people in the hospital over the holidays. Their biggest project is the Christmas quilt--they work on about 120 unique quilts which are delivered on Christmas morning. Scott Roberson / Daily Journal
