L-R Fifteen-year-old Madison Barrett and 14-year-old Megan Boyd take selfies wearing head scarves on Friday in the Greenwood Community High School cafeteria. Ammina Brown, a senior at Greenwood who is a practicing Muslim, wears the traditional head scarves and other coverings required by her faith. In an effort to educate her classmates and others who don't understand why she does this, she brought in a collection of her coverings to show other students, explain what they mean and let them try them on. The hope is to break down misconceptions about the Muslim faith. Scott Roberson / Daily Journal
