Cancer patient Robert Wright watches as Certified Nuclear Medicine Technician Kerri Irish prepares his arm of an intravenous injection prior to him receiving his first injection of the new cancer treatment Xofigo at St. Francis Hospital. Wright was diagnosed with prostate cancer seven years ago. He went through hormone therapy to treat the cancer but the treatment failed earlier this year. Around the time hormone therapy failed Xofigo became available and Wright was selected to receive the new treatment. Wright was the first person to receive the new treatment in Indiana.
