Vegetables grown using a small aquaponics system that John Woodbury, owner of Nature's Gift Aquaponics, will be selling. Aquaponics combines fish farming and hydroponic vegetable growing into one system. Fish waste from tanks of tilapia is converted to food for mats of vegetables floating in an adjacent tank. The plants then scrub the water of harmful nitrates, allowing the fish to continue to thrive. Scott Roberson / Daily Journal
