Church member Shirley Buckalew helps Patsy Turner select a knit hat from her cart for her daughter Mary Katherine Turner, 2, and Sarah Hines during a community service for families and people in need inside the Greenwood Christian Church in Greenwood, Ind., Monday, Nov. 10, 2014. Buckalew and the Close Knit Friends knitting group knitted the hats and scarves prior to the meal service then donated them to the families that attended the meal service. The church and it's volunteers have been running their community meal program every Monday for the past year and half. They usually serve about 180-200 meals every Monday. The program is free and open to anyone who desires a hot meal. Mike Wolanin / Daily Journal
