K-9 officer Benny watches as Johnson County Sheriff's Office Deputy Brian Baird speaks to fourth grade students about internet safety on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Creekside Elementary School. For the past 15 years, Baird and his wife, Beth, have brought one of their K-9 officers to area elementary schools to talk about different aspects of personal safety. Baird retired from the program, but the sheriff's office is in the process of finding and training a new officer to continue the program. Scott Roberson / Daily Journal
