Students watch the balloon drift away to the northwest of the school. Science teachers at Center Grove Middle School North launched a helium balloon expected to reach an altitude of 100,000-feet. Students watched Tuesday morning March 15, 2016 as the balloon equipped with cameras, GPS and a flight date recorder left the lawn in front of the school. Students will be able to track the balloon's fight on their computers. Rob Goebel/Daily Journal
