Thirteen-year-old Caleb Clemons writes in colored sand as part of his lesson on Friday, Oct. 20, 2017 at the Greenwood Public Library. Clemons is dyslexic and meets with tutor Laura Williams for two hours each week. About 20 percent of the population is affected by the disorder, but often their parents and teachers don't realize why children are struggling to read and do their schoolwork. The Greenwood library is hosting a workshop to help the community learn more about dyslexia and the options for overcoming it. Scott Roberson / Daily Journal
