William Russell, a WWII veteran, looks through crosses bearing the names of service members who lost their lives in WWII during a Memorial Day service on the courthouse lawn, Monday, May 25, 2015, in Franklin, Ind. Russell served as an engineer with the 42nd Infantry Division during the war. He fought in North Africa, France and Germany.
