Sandy Coram asks Indiana Masonic Home resident Patricia Brewer a question while Brewer listens to a digital music player on Wednesday. Franklin resident Laura Haw, who is earning her master's degree at the University of Indianapolis, used grant money to purchase 43 music players, which were loaded with music and given to dementia patients at the Masonic home. The patients listen to big band, country, gospel and other favorites, chosen with the help of their caregivers and families. Scott Roberson / Daily Journal
