Caption: The Halstead-Campbell house in Franklin is a preserved example of Gothic Revival architecture, with its pointed arched windows and gingerbread decoration around the gables. The house was moved from its original location adjacent to Franklin College to a plot just south of the college after preservationists organized a campaign to save it from being torn down. It now houses the Johnson County Senior Services.
