A flower takes shape on a piece of silk that Westfield artist Sylvia Gray was painting on. Gray uses dye to paint unique designs and scenes on silk, creating kimonos, scarves and other types of wearable art. Her silk work, as well as some impressionistic oil paintings, will be on display at the Southside Art League gallery throughout July.
