Kaleb Buck, a 15-year-old cancer patient, sits down with his mom Teresa, dad Mike and brother Kody at East of Chicago Pizza for Kaleb's first taste of solid food in four weeks. Buck chose the pizza parlor because he was craving breadsticks after his most recent chemo treatment. Buck was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a bone cancer that occurs in children and teenagers, in June of 2011. Folllowing his diagnosis Buck underwent radiation and chemotherapy treatments in Bloomington and Indianapolis. In mid- 2012 he was cleared of cancer and was getting ready to resume the life of a normal teenager. In January of 2013 the Buck family was informed Kaleb's cancer had returned in two area of his spine and one area of his skull. Kaleb began treatment again in March 2013.
